Selling Hametz 5785

In order to prepare for Pesah, it is customary to sell any unopened hametz before the holiday. This can be done using the form below. Traditionally, a small donation is offered, which can be given to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund. All money raised during the sale of hametz will be donated to Jewish Family Services and Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger. During the Seder we say, “let all who are hungry let them come and eat.” These funds will be used to help feed the hungry both locally and across the country.

Form must be filled out by 10 PM on Thursday, April 10. Hametz will be sold as of 10 AM on Friday, April 11.

Although Pesah does not begin until Saturday night, April 12, hametz should still be sold by mid-day on Friday, April 11.

Pesah ends at 8:32pm on Sunday, April 20th.

To authorize Rabbi Tilman to sell your hametz, please virtually sign your name below.
