Religious School
The Congregation Beth Israel Religious School is designed to help our students feel a connection to and affection for Jewish life, learning and tradition.
We provide innovative and project-based learning opportunities for students in grades PreK - 7, intended to develop their spiritual core and strengthen their Jewish identity.
We provide the tools and support necessary to ensure that every student succeeds and flourishes. We do not offer a cookie-cutter approach to teaching. Instead, we tailor our lessons to fit each student's unique learning style.
Students continue their learning in our Darcone program for 8th-12th graders.

Curriculum and Meaningful Moments
We have established different themes and specific benchmarks in multiple content areas to be studied by each grade in a developmentally appropriate way, using textbooks as guides and resources.
These content areas include:
- Ivrit - Hebrew
- Bein Adam l’Chavero - Jewish Values
- Bein Adam l’Makom - Jewish Rituals - including Shabbat and holidays
- Tefillah - Jewish Prayer
- Ahavat Yisrael - The Love of Israel
Additionally, there are "meaningful moments" woven into the curriculum throughout the year, including field trips, projects and special events, designed to make the content of our learning come alive for our students and thier families
