Camps and Travel Opportunities

There are many summer camps from which to choose and many tour providers running excellent youth programs, all of which post their own information online.  Here are a few bits of additional information to assist in finding just the right opportunity and making it possible.

CBI Foundation grants

Grants are  made to CBI children, 25 years or younger, regardless of financial need.  Grants are provided for a lifetime maximum of up to $2,000 for domestic programs and up to $2,000 for Israel programs.  Applicants must be planning to attend a program in Israel, a Jewish-oriented camp, a Jewish History class, or other domestic program that will enhance their Jewish identity.  The deadlines for applications are October 31 (for programs October - March) and March 31st (for programs April - September).

Applications are available through the synagogue office, by contacting Ann Beckerman at 908-578-3745 or annbeckerman@gmail.com, or by clicking here.

Since its inception, the CBI Foundation Committee has provided over $130,000 in grants to congregants' children.  In order to increase our children's pride in being Jewish by helping make it possible for them to attend programs of Jewish enrichment, the Foundation needs your ongoing support. Your contributions will enable us to continue giving.
